    400 g puff pastry dough, 4-5 large apples, Amylon cinnamon sugar, Amylon vanilla sugar, one teaspoon butter, 1 egg for brushing the dough

Preparation process

  1. Roll the dough to 2-3 mm and cut out circles with a diameter of 7 cm. Place the circles onto a pan lined with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the apples into slices, and cut into star shapes. Place the stars onto a heated frying pan, sprinkle with Amylon vanilla sugar and cinnamon sugar.
  3. After a short while, turn the stars and add a teaspoon of butter. Sprinkle again with both sugars.
  4. When the sugar is sufficiently caramelised, remove the stars from the pan and lay individually on the prepared puff pastry circles.
  5. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C.
  6. After baking for 10 minutes, brush with a beaten egg and bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
