Spring lemon chicken

Shop with us:

    1 whole happy chicken, 4 red onions, 1/2 zucchini, potatoes (for the side dish) +ORGANIC white wine (we recommend wine from Moravia). Marinade: herbs from the garden – marjoram, parsley, thyme, lovage, salvia, may add fresh nettles, 1 white onion (chop and add to the marinade), 2-4 cloves of garlic, AMYLON ORGANIC lemon sugar, extra virgin olive oil, butter

Preparation process

  1. Rinse and clean the entire chicken.
  2. Finely chop the herbs, garlic, onion, and mix all of these together with the lemon sugar into a paste.
  3. Rub the resulting mixture under the skin of the chicken and into the cavity.
  4. Into a roasting pan, cut the red onions into eighths, potatoes, zucchini, and place the prepared chicken onto the chopped vegetables.
  5. Cover the chicken with slices of butter and add the white wine to the pan. Cover with a lid and bake in the oven at 180°C. After approx. 45 minutes, remove the lid, baste the chicken regularly with the roasting juices, and bake until golden brown.
  6. Serve with the roasted vegetables.
