Everyone can handle the preparation

Caterpillar dumpling

  1. Pour the contents of the bag into a bowl, add 250-300 ml of water (depending on the desired stiffness of the dough), you can add cubes of harder bread and work the dough.
  2. Form the dough into two equal doughnuts and let them rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Place the doughnuts in boiling water and cook for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Once cooked, pierce the dumplings with a skewer and cut into slices. Prepare about 18-24 slices from the contents of the bag.

Fruit dumpling

  1. Pour the contents of the bag into a bowl, add 250 ml of water and work into a dough.
  2. Form the dough into a longer roll, cut it into pieces and fill them with fruit or jam.
  3. Close the filled dumplings well (round them), throw them into boiling water and cook for 7-10 minutes.

Serve the cooked dumplings sugared, sprinkled with grated cottage cheese or cinnamon sugar depending on the filling and topped with melted butter.

If you want the dumplings to be really fluffy on top, grate one peeled potato into the batter.
